This whale season Whale Spotter in partnership with ORRCA and NSW Parks and Wildlife are delighted to be going whale watching at North Head.

Fairfax walking Track

Come and join the fun and learn how to spot the whales, work out which species they are and what they’re up to as they migrate past Sydney.

Time: 10am – 4pm
Dates: Sun 15th June and Sun 20th July
Location: South East Lookout, Fairfax Walking Track, North Head, Sydney

There are no toilets available on the walking track

How To Get There

The Fairfax Walking Track is a loop track located at the end of North Head Scenic Drive on North Head.
North Head can be accessed on foot, via car or by public bus. Paid parking is available at at the entrance to the walking track ($4 All Day).
