Close to the coast are the Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphin (<em>Tursiops aduncus<\/em>) sometime also called the Inshore Bottlenose Dolphin. The area the dolphins call home has been protected as the Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary.
